Each year,
TOPP produces a calendar featuring black and white photographs
taken by people from our community just like you. The calendar will have a circulation of about 24,000 and will be distributed at no cost to residents
throughout the community to help others appreciate the history
and culture all around us. Please click here

your photo. We have had winners as young as 9, and many who are not professional photograhers.
What looks cool to you is fair game for the calendar, so
be creative, and HAVE FUN EXPLORING GREATER OVIEDO!!

STEP 1 - Take Picture(s)
Take a picture of a historic porch or stoop. To see pictures of past winners or
to download a list
of historic properties in the area, click here.
STEP 2 - Gather Information
Be sure to record the address where each photograph was taken and to make the photo file's name "place's address - your name" (EXAMPLE: 123 Main Street - Jane Doe). Then see if you can find anything out about the place photographed. We recommend "Oviedo: Biography of a Town" and "Oviedo: Circa 1960" as aids in your search. The more information you can help us with, the better!
STEP 3 - Submit photo(s) & info - up to 3 of them
Send the pictures to us. Either e-mail entries to Contest@OviedoTraditions.org OR (if you absolutely can't e-mail for some reason) mail a CD to 6007 Lake Charm Circle, Oviedo, FL 32765 (e-mail is GREATLY preferred as it saves you postage and the cost of a CD and us the trouble of moving the file from the CD to the judging platform). Be sure to check out the rules and label each file with the property address and your name.
